11/20/2014 Upper Red Lake Report

We Set up on Upper Red Lake for Walleyes on 8-9 inches of Ice. We fished from 7.5ft of Water and worked our way out deeper into 10.5 ft of Water. We had a front push in with 30+ MPH winds. Luckily the thermal otter portable ice house stayed plenty warm! The bite was slow during the day. The bite definatly turned on at sun down. This is why Red Lake is such a great lake for using sleeper houses. The bite is fantastic after dark. Fish that we caught were all above 15 inches the biggest being 19.5 inches. We had one nice Pike come through that was caught and released. Red Lake is making some good ice. I talked to a few other outfitters and resort owners and they seemed to think the accesses may be allowing Wheel Houses out Thanksgiving weekend! I will be heading out in search for Crappies tomorrow and will post a report from the Annandale area lakes. Check back soon!

2014/2015 Ice Fishing season has begun

Most lakes have locked up in the Annandale area should have walkable ice by this weekend. Always remember early ice you must check the ice as you go. I will be heading up to Red Lake on 11/19/2014 to provide a live fishing report so stay tuned for that. On 11/20/2014 I will be after some pan fish. Pictures and video to come within the next 48 hours.

Ice formation taking place 11/12/2014

I was out driving around today watching some of the ice formation. Soon we will have walkable ice! I will be providing ice reports daily and soon first ice fishing reports from the Annandale area to Red Lake and Lake of the Woods! Check back soon! 10/8/2014 Great Crappie Bite!

crappie fishingI have been offering a great rate on Crappie fishing $100/ 4 hours. We fished in 13 FOW and caught some nice crappies one dandy 14.5 incher! This was a short outing fished for 1.5 hours kept 9 crappies and a pike. Most crappies ranged from 11 inches to 12.5 inches.

Gearing up and out in search for some Walleye!

Finally Fishing Opener is Here 5/9/2014

I will be heading out for opener tonight to try pick up a few walleyes! I will post photos Saturday! Lets hope for a spectacular bite! The lake levels are high water temperature the other day was around 52 degrees.

3/21/14 Still 30 inches of Ice and Cold temps means more fishing!

Lake of the Woods February 27th – 2nd 2014

We had a group of guys fishing on lake of the woods. We had some cold weather but thanks to the ice castle fish houses and the yetti we stayed plenty warm. On the 28th we lucked out and had no wind and got out on the ice and fished. The sun was shinning and we found a hot spot! We caught some nice jumbo perch with some nice walleye. this group of guys I would say caught around 100 walleye. Alot of throw backs but we still had a enough for a nice fish fry. As the weather warms I expect the fishing to pick up! We are offering trips up to Lake of the Woods for $299/ person includes transportation. Minnimum of 3 people for each trip! Maximum of 8. I should have a new report comming soon!

February 11th – 15th Good consistent crappie bite!

We have had a good crappie bite. I have had customers catching crappies and northern pike in 19 Feet of Water to 26 Feet of Water. The warmer weather we have now has got guys taking advantage of it and getting out of the house a little. Crappies are ranging from 8.5 inches up to 13 inches.
